Get ready for more glitches. I have had ATT for cell and DTV for a decade(DTV for a lot longer). The issues will continue for quite a while. i.e. it took Southwest and AirTran over a year to integrate their systems.

And btw, I was in an Apple store getting an iPad and the rep confirmed. DTV was bad enough...expect more "surprises" now that ATT involved.

It just happened to me yesterday. Changing channels worked but there was a 30 second delay. I had to red button the DVR. Not sure if it's a known problem for ATT but when you went to their web site there was a 10 second commercial that they finally took down after complaints. That took 6 months....

Was your phone backed up to iCloud? Delete the app, sign off iTunes then sign on and re-download the app.

I had an issue myself a while back...I called DTV and the tech that came to house said my system wasn't set up correctly when I upgraded to Genie. Haven't had a problem since.

Just wanted to share...PROBLEM SOLVED! Seems when I upgraded to Genie the tech left the old wireless adapter connected which would cause a problem. Although when disconnected Genie's built in wireless still would not work. The diagnosis was bad wireless within Genie. Since I had a power line internet adapter to my Blu-ray right there he connected to Genie and all VOD work...
