It is working now. There was a technical issue the took Directv several days to fix. I am using HR44 connected to my 'Zyxel CA1000 router (provided by CenturyLink). So far, life is good, except when the signal went out during Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Rain storm issues. Grrrrrr.

I called yesterday (6/1/2014) and the agent said it would be fixed within 24 hours from 9 AM. Not sure what time zone. Regardless, the streaming issue still exists. I am still getting Error #1100. Try back later. Will this get resolved anytime soon? Will DirecTv compensate us for the loss of this feature? This has been going on for 5 days now. Ridiculous.

I have figured it out. Apparently I needed to download a newer version of the Directv viewer to my laptop. I only found this out when I tried to watch something from the stream everywhere channels. I was prompted to download a newer version of the viewer. I was never prompted to download a newer version when I was trying to watch a program from the view at home selection....

Sorry, I thought you meant a device other than the DVR that came with my receiver. Yes, I do have a HDDVR and it is connected to the internet thru my wireless router. For some reason, Directv says my laptop is not connected. Not sure why because I am connected to the same wireless router.

OK. I have located the problem. Direct TV is saying my laptop is not connected to my home network. This is not correct. I am connected to my wireless router. I have made no changes to my network set up. This is getting to be a pain.

I am sitting at home going thru the list of channels that are available to stream at home; those that have the WIFI symbol. NONE OF THEM WORK. I wanted to watch the Penguins/Rangers game on my laptop, can't. I thought perhaps the NHL was prohibiting streaming. I then tried various other channels. And none of them permit streaming. Unfortunately, DirecTV has several requirements that my laptop does not meet. First, it does not recognize Windows 8 as a compatible OS, second requires a specific type of video card. Guess I can't watch my DVR content on my laptop.
