Since you said that this is above her, that would mean that should the higher ups ever find out about the deviation she could end up being in trouble. I don't think it is wise to put Some one in the wrong position with management over a cell phone. There is nothing worse than when an employee decides to bypass management's decisions and this could reflect badly on you if t...

Well that would be the good choice especially when you end up owning it. The iPhone value holds a lot more than the others.

No issue life is tough. The bottom line if you get the iPhone you get the micro SIM and if you get the Blackberry you will have the BB plan. So in a sense you are tied to specific device plans. Now let's say you got the HTC and want to change the plan to accept the device, can you call at&t and have them change yhe plan or is this only controlled by your company. So if it ...

Well You should feel lucky. I know some companies that are very large who only give one option. The bottom line (sorry but this has to be said) the employees need take what they are given and be quite about it. 3 very nice devices plus the company paying all the costs for the service one should not ask for more. If one was paying for all then I would agree but here the com...

In IE 9 one can not seem to post as it erases after submitting. So Safari it is. What I said I prefer our plans over theirs. We get M2M, N&W and calls made from landlines to cell don't cost extra. It is not only me who sees it but actual UK people see it too that we have it better over here (they have services here and the UK and they speak out of real life experience)

Wow they are offering a good set of phones for the employees. You really need to ask the company as to why and my bet is like you said email synch and it is most likely based on Exchange server which would mean that the company IT security will have control over the devices should anything ever happens. Most likely they will not allow you to change based on their security...

malik007 wrote: The US really has it bad when i comes to cell phones. In the UK you can buy a unlocked iphone directly from Apple's website. Additionally only the cell phone making the call uses/is charged minutes. In the UK the receiver of a call is never charged whether they are on contract or pay as you go. Our terms are still better than them so I will stick with what...

PatHMV wrote: Yes, I'm also experiencing shorter battery life. Just installed it a few days ago, so haven't done any extensive testing, but yesterday I noticed that when I got home from work, I had just 10% power left, even though I had barely used the phone during the day. I did play one game for about 15 minutes, but other than that, did nothing but check mail with it a...

I would not downgrade too. I just don't like the idea of a slower connection when I have almost every where I go access to a much higher speed from regular Internet connection. I'd I am on the road then devices need to stay on the side period.
