If its for the mini (c41), try Mute + Enter (below #9), until you get a message on the screen saying Applying RF settings.

Find the recording in the guide, press info on it. Go to series options, then down to cancel series. Dont know if it will help, but worth a try.

A direct connection probably will help you, as new2dtv said. If you cant run the line yourself, if the router is too far away, you can get a coax cinema connection kit installed from directv.

I believe you can only watch the playlist from HDDVR's if not getting a satellite signal, R15-16's wont pull anything up. If it is indead an HDDVR, you press menu, select on the startup menu, then go to playlist.

If you are sure you can do it yourself, go ahead. It is definitely recommended DTV does it themselves, as peds said, if you go that route relocating a receiver will be $49 + tax.

I have 7 to 10 Mbps, and I cannot watch instantly. I always have to record it, wait about 5-10 mins and then watch it, or else I keep getting stuck buffering. Its just like anything you stream online, it needs to load some before you can seamlessly watch it.

When you say receiver, do you mean like A/V receiver or surround sound? If so you wanna lock the volume. Move the slide switch to where ever you programmed the device Mute + Select remote blinks 2x Enter 993 Press Select

Seems like an alignment issue if you are getting the guide info message, it would say something like; "Missing Guide Info: Your receiver has not received Guide information from the satellite for the past (3 - 13) hours. Please contact DIRECTV Customer Service (920)."

With just the screen saver, or power saving mode? If it's power saving mode, go to; Menu > Settings & Help > Settings > Power Saving > Turn it from On to Off.
