OK, I can schedule recordings when out of house using DTV app. WHat's confusing is the DTV app make it possible to connect to a receiver and can't tell for what purpose. Anyway, your suggestion is working

This still does not work. When outside of my house and not on my home wireless network, I access DTV app from my phone. It says under "Receiver Control (Out of Home)" the following: "Receiver: No Receiver". When I touch the word "Receiver", my home DVR name (FAMILY RM) is "grayed out". the screen then says "Only receivers that are connected to your home wifi network can b...

Hello, I have a good Internet connection (I can steam Pandora and Internet test is successful). I cannot access receiver while away from home to schedule recordings. When I try and start network services, I get "Unable to start network Services (700)". I have Genie DVR Model: HR44-500. Any ideas? Thanks, Rob

Hi, I get this error when there are no clouds in the sky and the major network channels (ABC/NBC, etc) work fine: Error 771 Satellite 1 loss signal on SNY. Any help would be appreciated.

I still cannot schedule recordings on smartphone app when not connected to my home network. When I enter DTV app outside of my home, it does not see my receiver. I know its connected because when I'm home I run tests and it tests OK and I can download on demand content.
