Not sure if I am getting the OSD 920's on all my H24-700's, but I think the 920's are just a by-product of the Diagnostic Code 45-72-410 that I do get on all the H24's, but NOT my HR24-500 DVR. 11-27-15 UPDATE: TexasBrit : If you see this, I cannot reply to this thread any longer...("Your content could not be saved due to an error. TexasBrit: No line of sight issues with 119 that I know of (signal on those x-ponders ranges from 79 to 99). The reason I brought up Sat. #119 is that the tech said 119 was bad before he replaced my LNB, and some people have said that 119 is where "guide data" is downloaded from. No channels I watch are on 119 I don't think. I went up and looked at the new LNB, confirmed ...

Shannon: yes, I have one coax from the dish/LNB to the switch and a power inserter. The new LNB looks the same as the old one to me (3 feed horns). I may go up on the roof tomorrow and confirm my LNB model #.

Texas: 3 posts (positions/"eyes")...on the old & new LNB's. I got the "5-LNB-S" I wrote above from my receiver's "Satellite Setup" screen. I didn't climb up on roof to get the model # of the LNB (dark here)...but it is definitely the "3-post/eye" one. Maybe my receiver(s) are set to the wrong LNB model??

Hi peds, I haven't had the OSD 920 error for awhile...I can't confirm that I have received one since the tech replaced my LNB and multi-switch. So I'll probably wait to see if it comes back before I have you take the time to troubleshoot it for me. But thanks! My LNB: "5-LNB-S" "Dish Type": "18: Slimline-5S (SWM)" Switch type: "01 WM" Receivers: 3x H24-700 (they have the ...

Same here (with H24-700's x3). Code "45-72-410" on the self-test, and " Code 920 " pops up on the screen once in awhile with multiple reboots during the day. My HR24-500 seems unaffected by the problem. Problem started for me sometime after the 9/30 (0x9dd) software update. I called DTV a few weeks ago about the problem, and they sent a tech out who said there was a probl...

OK, fixed it...was a weird partial LNB/SWM power inserter temporary failure (satellite xponders on 101, 110. 99s down). I had unplugged the SWM power inserter for about a minute right after the utility power glitch, but that didn't work at the time. This time I powered down everything for a hour (especially the SWM power inserter) and sure enough, after I re-powered the p...

Hi everyone, so we had a "rare for drought-stricken Central California" thunder storm blow through, and we lost power for 1 minute or so & experienced some wind & rain. When the power came back on 3 of our 4 receivers rebooted and came back with "771" no signal errors (1 HR-24 DVR and 2 H-24's)...one H-24 is connected to my computer UPS and didn't lose power during the sh...

Yeah, like Shannon said "SlingBox" is the hardware "stream from home to the Internet" device..."Sling TV" is the new streaming service from the "other satellite company". ;-) https://www.sling.com/
