I have tried both of the setting in the Audio Setup Menu. Connect is HDMI from HR34 and blu-ray directly to Panorama 2 soundbar into HDMI1 and HDMI2 input. Output to TV is HDMI out. Indicator on Panorama2 soundbar shows Dolby Digital. It seems to occur mostly on the DIRECTV Local Channel for NBC.

Genie HD DVR (Model HR34-700) connected to Bower & Wilkes Panorama 2 soundbar. Certain channels have very low volume, especially during commercials. In the DFW are, Local channel 5 through DIRECTV is one of these low volume channels. Works fine on all other channels and connect directly with blu-ray player. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
