We had 2 standard definition and 1 DVR receivers. No HD receivers. When we ordered it they told us all we needed to do was add the HD advanced receiver fee. Once we did that the picture came in much better. Why did it work for a few days then start having the problem on only 1 channel then spread to others? When we called tech support they ran it through a number of test....

Or maybe a fine crack in the LNB cover that's letting moisture in. You know, like dew that's created with temperature change during the night.....hmmmm.

Added a HR21 to the account with 2 SD and 1 DVR receiver. After adding the HD fee the picture looked great. A few days later on just the NFL network in was pixelating and freezing up. It then spread to other channels. Only on the HR21 though. At first it had a 920 code then 771 and now 772 and will not bring back the programming. All the other receivers work fine. What co...

I might sound like an idiot asking this but have you tried to just reset up your receiver? If not give it a try, it can't hurt right? One thing you can check is all your internet connections. I believe you have a Cinema Connection Kit (CCK) Check it to make sure it's working. Are all the lights on and working if not or to reset it unplug it for 15 seconds and plug it back...

I'm sorry I guess my post must not be written correctly. I didn't think I was asking that. But ok thanks.

Yes that's correct and I understand the fee for the TV will be charged even if a client isn't needed. I'm wondering though, how do you best explain the fee to a customer that wants to upgrade to the Genie Whole-Home service? The customer has just went out and purchased several thousands of dollars on 3 RVU ready TV's. They were sold on the TV's with the idea that there wo...

Sorry about the previous post but I edited it slightly. I think that it was a little confusing but I hope you were able to get it to work. I forgot to put in the post that the first part in bold was a shortcut.

I believe you are referring to the DECA's (Directv Ethernet Coaxial Adapters) The reason you have those is AT&T is Ethernet cable. You are changing over to Coaxial cable. You will be fine.

I was wondering how customers are responding and what is the real benefit to having an RVU (RUI) ready Smart TV. I know it can eliminate the clutter and conserve energy but is the cost of one justifiable?

I'm pretty sure that you have the latest software but you can try this. Short Cut Press and hold the info button on your remote, after a few seconds the system info will appear. Menu Access At the top of the remote slide to Directv position. Menu on remote Settings & Help Settings Software version will be displayed Acquiring Download Keep receiver plugged in, doesn't need...

Not sure if you still have the owners manual but you can get it here http://www.directv.com/learn/pdf/System_Manuals/DIRECTV/DIRECTV_HR10-250.pdf?referrer=https://support.directv.com/app/an… Not sure if this matters but that receiver will support video format 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i Like I said I'm not sure if that will make a difference but I would try to make sure both ...
