Genie Model: HR34-700 Yeah - have reset the box many times, powered it off - left it off, reset the satellite in settings, etc...

Clarifying my issue, reported earlier thinking it was the exact issue as some other's posted here, but it doesn't seem to be exactly the same. We will switch to a channel - and the screen will be black, but with Audio. This happens on any/all of our 3 different setups. (this would rule out connection issues between the TV and Receiver - as there are 3 separate tvs with 3 ...

Why is this a different problem. The resolution is exactly the same as the other posts. Also - it is not specific to a single TV or Device. The issue happens on any of my 3 directv setups. On Sat, Jan 18, 2014 at 9:25 AM, litzdog911 <

I answered on a similar thread that I am having the exact same issue. So I believe DirecTV may be having an issue. HEre are my specs: Genie HR34-700 - in the San Fran Bay area. Device is 1 year old. What is really irritating is this happens when recording a show - so the recording is just black. (but I have audio)

I am having this exact issue - only the audio is working. THought it was recordings - but it is not - it happens when watching live TV Have reset the device several times - does not seem to help.
