I checked again today and nothing. To be honest, I don't even bother with it anymore because I'm so used to checking ESPN.com with my phone. I'm going to say that if it was the NBA or NFL having problems, it would have been fixed within an hour. Pathetic Directv, just pathetic.

litzdog911 wrote: No. You need to run a third RG6 coax line from the SWM16's "SWM2" output. That puts 4 tuners on the SWM1 output (your current 2 HR24s) and the Genie's 5 tuners on the SWM2 output. You can't have more than 8 tuners on each of the two SWM16 outputs. Ironically, I just had this install done not more than 3 hours ago! What litzdog911 has listed is correct. G...

Why does your profile indicate you're an installer? If you're an installer, why would you need to post here for help? I would hope that if you are in fact an installer, you have had sufficient training that would allow you to troubleshoot problems by yourself. Plus, given that your profile states you're an installer, why would you have to call Directv's tech support line ...

I suggest you do a google search for GATEWAY ADDRESS moron. Classy move calling me a moron! So let me get this straight to make sure I have this right - you post 2 IP addresses along with their subnet ...

Cool, so what you're saying is that anytime a gateway address is needed, the only IP address that is used is 192.168.0.1? That sounds like it would be a really easy thing to do since there are a bunch of companies that make routers of different shapes and sizes. And you're also saying that I can't configure my router to a different gateway IP or use a different IP address...

Out of curiosity, and to make sure I do the right things when I get my Genie on Friday, can you list all the troubleshooting steps you did? Thanks

I'm not even sure what you mean when you post: 192.168.0.100 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 208.67.222.222 Sure, that's 2 IP addresses and their subnet masks, but are they to your cell phone? Computer? What? Watch this: 192.168.0.2 255.255.255.0 It's interesting that you mention you have 18 years of IT experience given that you have 1) incorrectly identified the 169.254.x.y ne...

I have a multiswitch. And B-Band Converters did NOT come with either of the HR24s. I had a pair left over from my old HD box but still needed one pair. I do not have an SWM system. What's with all of the legally/illegally bought hardware and buying things from Ebay and Radioshack? Are you a Directv installer?

Would this information have been available when I was upgrading a SD box to HD box? I ask because B-Band Converters didn't come with the HD box and I'm wondering if those could have been included with the original order. I understand why since a good majority (probably all) of dish installs are now SWM. I'm just curious is all.

Does Directv know if I have an SWM system or a multi-switch set up, without reading my other posts?

I have an HR24-200. There is no 'App Store' according to this webpage - Connect DIRECTV - On Demand and Live Streaming Online - DIRECTV - scroll down to 'Make your TV more app-etizing'. Is it possible for the Scoreguide to stay on the NHL all the time? It would be awesome if I could just hit (DASH) to check the scores and not have to navigate there all the time. Thanks, R...
