Correct. I can use the remote function on the app. But don't because withou the guide makes no sense. The guide never populates and the home screen never populates. So the currently watching, live TV streaming, and What's Hot modules just sit and search for receiver/load.

1. Yes I see the up address for each receiver. Can actually control the channel etc on them through the remote in the app. They are all green and validated. 2. Not sure if I've done this NS Lookup correctly but here is what I did find. 3. I believe the port is open, I've used PFPortForward to check that it is open on the IP that relates to my DVR. I'm running the latest 2.4.5 Also have all the whole home settings set to allow, I've just got the one DVR. I didn't do the whole uninstall, power off, reinstall for the updated app, but had done it multiple times before.

I Really wish that would work for me! I feel like I've done it 100 times with no luck. The app clearly has bugs they are not willing to fix. Uninstalling and reinstalling an app are not home network issues as some have suggested. This is so frustrating.

Good Luck! I've been dealing with the same issue with no resolution. I've called there customer service and they don't have a clue what they are doing. Twice they've told me it would be fixed the following day. Flat out lies. I'm not sure if it's a receiver thing or what because people on these forums have the app working and running fine.

So much for that. Port8080 is open, no luck. No help from anyone at directv. There phone help sucks, apparently they don't have anyone that actually monitors or responds on these forums either.
