CCK connected properly to network and making internet connection. I am able to pull the VOD guide, when I try to watch a program from the menu, say "Nine for IX" from ESPN, it tells me "i am not subscribed....." I have verified my subs, any ideas? Using a WIFI CCK, HR 24 and HR 34 connected.

I was wondering what would cause pixelation on the active screen, signal strength on the 101 transponder 8 100 (tuner 1) and on 9 50 (tuner 2). I know that tuner 2 is the lead/main feed, and generally if there is an issue it would be resolved in that line. The dish has been realigned, LOS is not an issue, connectors have been replaced. There is another HR in the house it ...

Or do a google search for dtv's ka/ku setup to see actual dish setup's. I'm sure there will be no problem finding a suitable spot. Good Luck, and welcome to HD.

The dish is approx. 2x's the size of the trip lnb dish. The foot plate is a bit wider and longer. Also, 2 monopoles are need because the wind rating is higher. To answer your question with one, how does the other one currently sit? I've seen them mounted on the roof at the over-hang. Some homes have just enough space on the side but at the roof to fit these dishes. For me...

greywolf, Does this really work? I've seen some long runs on a ka/ku setup, but I've never seen an "amp" put in the path. What are the "future" expectations with using this say if your market wasn't yet on the 99 sat? would that signal be distorted in anyway?

yes it will. are you certain that the switch was installed properly? are you certain that both lines from the receiver are connected to the switch? have you done a reset on this receiver, sometimes after disconnecting the sat lines from a dvr, you may have to reset it so it will pick up the other line. If you can record on the dvr, it is not the dvr service. If it were, y...

Yes, there may be an issue with the cabling. If there is a splitter in the line then you will see something like this. If you only have one sat line in the receiver you may see this as well. If there is moisture in the line or if the connectors have any flaws in it. Or, the ground/ground block can be bad. There are several possibilities. I don't know how your system is ho...

Not sure what to say about the receiver. We run into these things alot in the field. We just swap them out if we can't figure it out. Mine did what yours seems to be dong and finally the power supply died out. Could be a bad receiver. There may be away to reformat the hard drive, i'll leave that one up to texasbrit. as for the remote, you can slide the mode switch to tv t...

texasbrit i totally agree with that assessment. if your dtv system is not properly grounded if all fittings are not changed and you are not running rg-6 cable on your hd system then you can expect to have some issues. some techs take the high road on service calls/installs/upgrades and don't check these things. the issue i was having has currently been resolved as i swapp...

We heard that they were recalling all 100 S series because of software issues.

I have gone through the reset (pressing the red button) I have even gone through reset all through the setup. I even forced the download. I even formatted the hard drive (holding the down button and the record, is this correct?). none of this seemed to work. i recently tried to turn it on and it wouldn't even boot-up.

I am having an issue with my hd-dvr. when i tune to different channels it takes sometimes up to one minute to tune in to that particular broadcast. also, i cannot do dvr functions on it as well (i.e. pause, rewind, record etc). can this be an issue with the graphics card? i also heard that dtv is recalling these receivers, if so the one that came in as a replacement is th...
