how come whenever they came out to set our system up and when they sold it to us, they said if we had the internet we could get whole home DVR and other features. I am not a tech, but we just had the EXACT same issue. The guy who installed our system connected the same setup that you said you had..basically. We finally got tired of messing with the authorized dealer and went straight to Main Directv headquarters - hotline. We had been trying to get this fixed since the middle of June.
