I appreciate that this problem got escalated to very pleasant people who stayed in touch with me. Thank you. But my email is set for immediate delivery at all times (I use exchange server) and the live tile is not related to the reminder function. It is intended to be "at a glance" what is happening on your calendar (even with no reminder set)

Yes I will second that opinion that Zune does a great job getting things relatively close to the way they were.... much better than anything else I have done with any WP or Android that invovled a ROM reset!
