What type of system do you wish to install this in? Are you using SWM HD recievers? Are you wanting to feed many locations with one reciever? Give us a better picture of your lay out. There are rack mountable 16 out put Sat switch's that are used all the time but most of them only only for standard def with two inputs from the dish required.

Go into Sat setup, select the 18" round, multi switch, if using two cables from the dish select two tuners, if using only one cable, select one tuner, then run sat setup, if you still do not have a picture, then go to signal meter and check levels. You need to be pointed to the 101 sat

The Mini Max series of antenna's will ONLY RECIEVE standard definition programing. The antenna will ONLY lock on the 101 sat and was also designed to lock on the 119 for a VERY limited DTV programming and for FULL DISH net programming. This also means that even IF you are in your driveway, you would not get any HD programming. Once you leave a average radius of 150-200 mi...

Under normal conditions, a camp ground that has a satellite tv system, (Dish or Directv), will have an equipment room with many receiver's already installed giving a 'cable' system to the camp ground. Under this system, you will NOT be able to use your receiver as the system is now set to act like a normal cable tv system. You would connect to the system then to the stand...

Is this trailer an RV or a mobile home that does not move? If a mobile home that does not move, then as litzdog stated, you can have the system installed but will need a second account to use at the same time as the other location. As for type of dish antenna, you will need a slimline 3 single wire.

As long as you have a show set to record FIRST RUN< ALL episodes, the record manager will do its thing if a 'new' episode comes up even thu it some times does not show 'one in the que' in the manager. I have also seen this in my manager list, but as long as a show is a 'new' episode, it records.

To davehauch, everyone has given you some of the correct answers, BUT the One correct answer is YOU WILL NOT LOCK ONTO NOR SEE any signals from the 119 as that sat is no longer in use. If you had a dish that recieved HD signals then you would be seeing signals from the 99, 101, and 110. Since your KVH does not recieve HD you will ONLY see the 101. Good luck

You need to remember that even thru you are using a HD reciever, you have a standard dif ONLY dish on the RV. This means you will ONLY recieve STANDARD DIF picture. NOW, set the dish settings for mulitiswitch, 01 18" round and using the on screen meters you should see your signals in the 80+ range.

Having done a lot of these remote mounts, here is what you need to due. At 300ft, you need to use the RG11 instead of RG6 due to better signal and power capiablites. You can go to some place like Perfect 10 (perfect-10.tv) or solid signal (solidsignal.com) and order a 1000 ft reel of under ground rated RG11. I would also get at least 10 connectors. Cheaper per 1000 then b...
