Thanks again. No problems all weekend. Now if you could only fix my NBC problems I would be a very happy camper :-) Basically the symptoms are exactly the same but are received in that state i.e. whether watching live or DVR and going back 2-3 minutes does not resolve the problem. It mainly happens during peak viewing programs like "The Voice" and only that channel.

Thanks for that information. The model number is HR34-700 I have run all the tests you recommended and now busy running the surface test (about a third of the way) and has not found any errors yet. Is it possible that running the tests would have fixed the problem although no errors were found? Is it like running a defrag, no errors found but improves the performance? Tha...
