for the Serial Number, you should be entering the Serial Number of your GenieGO. It is on the bottom of the box. How is your GenieGO connected to your network? what is the status of the LEDs?

are you using the built in wireless on your HR44 to connect to your router? I have a dlink dir-632 router and I find my wireless connection is not stable. It seems to drop on me every few minutes and then reconnects. I think you should try holding the GenieGO's reset button for 30 seconds, given your DVRs are seeing each other

Can you log into your router and check to see that you can see the GenieGO and the Genie in the network client list? Is upnp enabled on your router?

I Will have to double check when I am back home (travelling)sure think it is 1.5 or less. did you try power cycling your stb and geniego? I noticed it helps when programs don't prepare.

That's strange, the app works fine for me on an old mac mini with a lower processor speed. I would try clearing the installation by holding control+command+option at the same time and the click open on the geniego app. You should get a pop up asking if you want to reset settings
