If it is a Dvr R15 or R16 To my understanding it is a 160 gb internal harddrive, where you can record up to 100 hours.

Hey the answer to that questions is NO, because in the Directv system the card is paired with the card, so you actually need a card for each receiver. Hope this helps.

Since the other boxes are working fine and this is an HD DVR then this could be a signal issue, lets do a little test can you go to the back of the unit and swap the two cables connected to sat in 1 and sat in 2 and lets see if that works. Hope this helps.

what was the result on the turner? If it says ''ok'' then check that all the cables are in good condicion and tight and if that does not work then call dtv for a service call. If you get ''OK. Signal under 60'' Then do the same thing as in the first opinion. If you get ''Failed on one or more tuner(s).'' then call Dtv to have the receiver replaced due to defective receive...
