If you like the glance screen on the 920, you won't have it on the 930. The 930 is just like the Icon, which is missing glance as well. The specs of the 930 are great, but I've grown rather accustomed to using the glance screen.

Both are nice and good followups, but for 920 owners I don't see either as a true successor. I'm hoping for a Lumia 935 (930 + Glance Screen) on AT&T this fall.

@TechPorVida Great news! I'm glad that worked for you. If it continues, it may be worth your time taking mental note of what you were doing or using prior to your screen turning off. If that Lock key doesn't wake the phone up, it could be some app that was poorly written and causing your problem. No phone is immune to apps having unintended side effects.

There is the off chance that a soft reset could help. It doesn't loose data, just forces a reboot. Press Lock and Volume Down at the same time for about 5-10 seconds. I've had to do this and never lost any data that was stored on my phone. With the 8.1 update right around the corner, that could address whatever software problem may be occuring here.

Details are not clear, but it sounds lile if you connected your WP8.1 device to your employer and they force BitLocker, you have to revert back to WP8.0. http://www.wpcentral.com/microsoft-users-windows-phone-81-preview-developer-should-return-normal-software-getting-lumia-cyan I have WP8.1 installed on my Lumia 920 and it isn't connected to my employer, I don't plan on r...

Ignored? No. They spend their time in the forums with the most activity. While WP is gaining in popularity, it pales in comparison to Android and iOS. We'll know when Black is coming once they've finished testing. Giving us a date today and then missing it due to issues, they may just open the door for an outpouring of "love" from the community. They will get lit up for n...

Logo412 nailed it. An MS account is the easiest way to get access to your contacts on another device. Whether it is tour PC, a Win8 tablet or Outlook.com in a browser, it is very easy. Are you using an MS account or something else?

Take a look at the other regions and even Canada, you'll see that AT&T isn't the last carrier to release. http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/availability-in-north-america/ http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/availability-in-europe/ If you really want to feel good, look at Latin America! http://www.no...

Ridlah wrote: Well i have an HTC HD7S and it seems that once again AT&T won't be pushing the updates. I am now switching to t-mobile because they know how to release updates on time. To be fair this date was never announced. We only knew that Nokia was targeting the Lumia 900. Other devices and networks was a nice bonus.

Try a soft reset by pressing voume down and power at that same time. I had this happen when I was in an AT&T store and the guy did this to bring the device back. No data was lost in the process.
