oh i dont know if i mentioned this, but now at&t no longer requries you to be a customer to unlock the devies. so as long as you bought a used phone, and that phone was on the network for 2 months post paid on another account, or six months on a pre paid account before you purchased it, it is unlockable. just because you bought a used phone that was on att for like a year...

go to the fcc website and file a complaint against at&t. they will forward your complaint directly to at&t executive relations and they will help you out. i had to do this with an sony playstation vita., and i got an officail response from att executive relations saying they can't unlock it, because there are no codes available. But the people who called me back were from...

that person who posted about switching from a diesel engine to gasolone or whatever is just plain wrong.. at&t or circket CAN SWITCH YOU TO GSM but they JUST DONT WANT TO. or its because SAMSUNG is stopping them. this whole CDMA vs GSM discussion is meaningless when you factor in LTE. as long as you have an LTE phone. it is possible to switch from CDMA to GSM because LTE ...

it is my understanding that the bill that obama signed only allows makes it legal for you to crack , pirate, hack, jailbreak, your phone to allow it to be used on another carrier without the carriers permission the CITA agreement on unlocking, is just a Voluntarily Agreement between all the carriers that does not take effect until Feb 2015.. the CITA unlocking policy IS N...

if you are using ios 7: you go to settings click on cellular this is where you can turn off cellular service for specific apps. next to each app it will tell you how much that data that each app has used. find out what is using the data and turn it off. good luck getting the bill lowered! if you turned off cellular data and its still sucking data, wow. i don't know what e...

i think it is relatively easy to get a go phone pin changed. they will resend you a new pin # via a sms message. http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB92527&cv=821#fbid=F1PAKLAk1Ma or https://www.myprepaidrefill.com/MobilityUSWeb/displayAccountSummary.do however. your port request will need the actual billing account # for your go phone service. you need to call 6...

tip: every go phone customer should check with att support at stores and make sure your IMEI # ( the serial # to the phone ) is correctly assigned to your account. i found this not to be the case and two of my unlock requests were denied, because at&t had no record of the imei being used another tip: while your talking to att support, ask for your actual account # of your...

another point. unlock codes expire. you only have a certain amount of time to complete the unlock or you will have to resubmit the request. if they send you an unlock code i think its only good for a couple days. if you ask for an iphone to be unlocked you only have 24 hours to complete the process or you have to submit a new request the emails ive seen from at&t customer...
