Hi dcd, Thanks for the comeback. That was my guess too as to what was happening. It was just the 15 calls in a row after the new software download that caught my attention. My IRD’s communicate just fine with Directv thru the internet connection. I’ve never missed being billed for pay per view event ordered with my remote. Thanks again. WA6YYJ, Bob. Hi Shannon01, Thanks for the reply. I know that the software upgrades come from the sats. Just looked at my Verizon phone bill to look up another number that had been called and I found many many many outgoing calls to Directv's modem number 866-685-8469. I have a Verizon Home Connect phone which is really just a cell phone acting like a hard wired landline. It will not pass the modem tones properly so it won't communicate (can't use it as a fax line either) T...

My desktop computer is not listed in the "My Computers" in the Media Share menu screen. My laptop is listed as is any other computer that I put on my home network. Thanks for the quick come back. No DSL service. Just like I said in the original post, it's the 2 new HR24-500's that quit displaying and logging calls in about one day after a red button reset or a new software download reset. Once they stop responding to phone calls they don't ever show any new calls until you reset the receiver then it's good again for about 24 hours. ...

Caller ID only works for about 1 day after resetting my 2 HR24's. Then it quits working and won't show any incoming calls or log them in the call log. It does this with the previous software version (0x452) as well the latest version (0x5d2). I do have caller ID turned on in the menu. Works fine on my other 3 H21's
