So as the story generally has always gone with DirecTV, they want US to finance THEIR hardware - yet they rake in billions of dollars a year on customers and especailly with Sunday Ticket. I'm tired of DirecTV always being 'behind the curve' on things - such as Multi-room viewing - yep, Uverse beat you to it. I think even Dish did (although they did it in a hokey way with...

UPDATE: I actually connected a HDMI cable from the Directv HD-DVR box to my Sony 'Soundbar' HDMI Receiver/Amp - and then from there to the Sony 55" LED Bravia 3D Tv - and it works now on every channel. So bascially I had to bypass the Monoprice.com HDMI 2x4 switch that I've used for years now that works on EVERYTHING but DTV's crap-py box. So quick run-down: 3D works from...

Unreal - I just bought a $3300 setup from Best Buy - new Sony Bravia 55" LED-LCD 3D tv. Have everything setup and all working perfectly in HD - the PS3 with 3D Blu-ray - 3D games etc. And now Directv's channels 103 (n3D) and 106 (ESPN3D) seem to work fine - displaying in 3D. What is this with channel 104 (DTV Cinema PPV) saying 'resolution not supported'? Really? Obviousl...

Okay, now activated per my rep Austin's (via 800-directv's) patience and all the good info here. Thanks guys. Still pi**ed that I've helped them test this 'beta' of MRV - and then they turn around and cancel it on me, don't inform me, charge me more ($4 more, 3 for service - 1 more to change my 'expired package' just changed last year), and waste all of my time (and the R...

Par-don - but why the HE** should I have to pay for this when I'm using my own equipment and cabling to network? And ATT Uverse and Dish have it for free? I thought your previous post about email requesting was to request it for FREE - but if they're thinking I'm going to pay for this, I'm tired of the nickel and diming. Pricing ATT Uverse TV as we speak.

Had it for months as well and am infuriated that they would remove it without notice. ATT Uverse and Dish have this service for FREE, STANDARD. I've done as you suggested litz - hopefully I get a good response. My first phone did not mention or offer anything of the sort even though I said I'd been using it fine for months with my own network switch/router. Directv needs ...
