ATT sent what they said was my 'deliquent account' to a collection agency!!! I was furious. Turns out I sent my payment under the wrong account number (it was switched when I went to Uverse) and after two months of repeated calls, tracking operators and spending much too much time dealing w/the issue, they turn around and contact a collection agency. Not a question - just a statement. I've had Uverse internet since April, 2013 and have had three major outages. As many of you have stated, support is VERY difficult to obtain. Miraculously, IF.I.WAIT.LONG.ENOUGH, my service returns. After I finally was able to connect w/a technician during my most recent outage, he said that my modem had gone bad and sent out a new one. ...
