As an FYI, the technician also corrected my wiring and installed a new phone jack, and gave me a new filter, even though my old one was probably good. As you can see from my previous post, using my E1000 as my router solved my upstream issue. I will keep tabs on the errors though. Thank you for your time regarding this issue. Rickos.

I tried the solution given by DONLUZ, using my E1000 as my router instead of the NVG510, and my upstream has gone back to .9

THANK YOU DONLUZ!!! Your solution has solved my problem with terrible upstream when using the NVG510. I set up my E1000 as you described and my upstream has gone from .2 - .3 with the NVG back to .9 that I used to have. Thank you again.

I am not using the E1000 anymore. My hardwired test was with the 510. As an added note, if I go back to my old modem and the E1000, my upstream goes back to .9 but then my downstream goes down to 8 - 10.
