Hey nishah0404, I'd reccomend first just confirmed the difference in price between a 2-year contract vs Next upgrade using www.attcalc.com/next . Like deenalove08 said, if you have Mobile Share Value 10gb or higher, the Next program is overwhelming less expensive, where on the smaller plans the phone on a contracts ends up maybe about $50 less. When you have a concrete nu...

I'm going to take a stab it's a matter of demand and color. Certain colors are in higher demand and and are coming in sooner. Apple also makes versions of the phone each company, not big differences, just pre setup for a particular network, and there's less demand for the ones your buddy got or the color your wife got. e.g. (guessing) Your AT&T iphone 6+ 64gb black > Veri...

It's a known issue, the code that gets used to cancel a line when someone returns the phone is not the same code as when someone ports out. A cancelled line can't be ported, so it can't be reported returned/cancelled before it's ported and once it's ported it's automatically cancelled. Best Buy just needs to call AT&T and let them know the phones were returned and the ETF...

Hey Point of reference "Receive: Standard domestic messaging rates apply. " IE, you get charged the same as you would in the US. Since you don't get charged for texting (thanks to your unlimited plan), it's free. -Alex

Yes, you can Keep in mind, the internet you share with the hotspot also counts against your 1gb, so you may end up needing more. If you changed your plan recently, you may also need to restart your phone. -Alex

Please make sure you read $450 instead of 99 cents. It's a poor sense of value, to not realize that you just got a discount over $400 when you got the phone. Yes the contract is unfair, both to AT&T and customers. The cancellation fee is $325 dropping $10 for each month, until $105 falls off the final month. So it favors you early, and AT&T late. It makes no sense whatsoe...

Yeah, . . . you're stuck. (stupid autoreply) AT&T reserves the right to prevent abuse or fraud. If someone has that imei on their account, erroneously, there there's too much concern for abuse. Due to privacy reasons, AT&T's not allowed to discuss your unlocking information or notify the other account holder, or negotiate with them. So in oversimplified terms, you say thi...

The time you recieve the notices has no bearing on when the data gets used, it's usually catching from 1-5 days in past. So the fact that you got late night notices doesnt indicate any sort of improper recording. Additionally, if your phones were on sleep mode, many phone disable wifi and may continue to run apps or services, causing you to use it overnight. To put it fai...

Depending on packaging I suspect it's possible to damage the phone without necasserily damage the exterior box. An example could be excessive shaking. Additionally, I would ask the warranty team to return the damaged phone to you. I think this happens automatically, but make sure. Maybe it was a scratch that you hadn't noticed or had overlooked. If you get it back, maybe ...

I agree it is rude. Then again, I've talked to people who've said the equivalent of I'm-going-to-sit-here-and-prevent-you-from-helping-someone-else-until-I-get-what-I-want, even when the answer is a clear cut, no. I don't know if there was any alternative to whatever disconnect. As far why you're not able to do payment arrangments, I suspect financial history. Failure to ...

To my knowledge, there won't be a way to have it emailed. If you're able to still log into your online account, you'll be able to download the pdf with your details. Otherwise, you'll need to wait for the hard copy to get mailed to the address on file. If you haven't gotten it, you can request for it to be snail mailed again. -Alex

He would need to contact TRUE to ensure his iphone is unlocked. If so, then yes. Unlocked phones are not guaranteed to work perfectly. Usually calls/texts works. The Internet sometimes works -Alex

There's some small grey area, to that, but if you're talking about what I think you are, then I don't see a reason per se, why it wouldn't work. So, if I'm understanding you right, You'd port out your son's line, after his contract expires to some no contract service, After the 2 months, where he can return his phone # to his old line expires, you would port his number ba...

You're thinking of verizon wireless. *228 with them. With AT&T, it's enough to turn off your phone for a min, and turn it back on. Verizon uses older CDMA network, where extra nudging like that helps. Supposedly the GSM should auto update. The bottom line is, it doesn't exist. -Alex

It's a pain. Your credit card company or water company would still hold you accountable to for charges/usage, even if the meter/website wasn't working for them. On principle, this is the same thing. Just like with them, you have alternatives means of either tracking or preventing usage. What I mean is that there' free services that will let you keep track of your data, an...

No. The deposit you're talking about comes back as long as you keep your service paid without issue Here's the info To have your security deposit refunded, the following is required: You must complete 12 months of active service with AT&T. During the 12 months, your account cannot be suspended for nonpayment. Your account must be current for the deposit to be refunded. Ju...

That should be the only way you'd be charged, unless of course you don't really have the unlimited texting plan you've mentioned. If you look over your paper bill (you see a scanned copy of your paper bills online too), if there's usage, it should show something like eg Data Roaming Text Messages @ $0.25 32 messages $4.00 -Alex
