You may have to hold the power button down for 10 secs. Verify that your link light is lit on the set top box. This will verify that you have it correctly connected and it see's the RG. You can call in and have a tech come back. I've been on repair for a a similar issue. You have a 90 day warranty so charges should not be applied.
