Check the number of "KEEP AT MOST" for your series programs. It will be 1,2,3,5,7,or 14. But there is a "KEEP ALL". If it is set to "7", each new recording will delete the oldest recording because the system "keeps the LATEST 7 recordings. As with DIRECTV, Its same setting is KEEP AT MOST <#> recordings and it stops recording the latest shows. It doesn't erase the oldest ...

The biggest hit on this is when others send out global emails that were forward some someone else and from someone else, and from someone else,,, AND to be sure that it is FW: on too save the day, etc ,etc, etc. Before you know it, one rough email is now in thousands of mail boxes. Do open this type of e-mail, just delete. AND do not open any email that has Re: in the sub...

WINDOWS 7 I had the same problem on Chrome where suddenly movies from Showtime and Cinemax would error out on loading with error code 5. Deleting the browser cache had no effect, however, IE8 continued to work and I never removed or changed Silverlight. It seemed to happen after Sockwave player was upgraded but I'm not 100% sure. I removed (deleted) Adobe Sockwave and Act...

You're right, its the little things. You can alway press the INFO button and in the right upper corner you'll see the current time.

I'm agreement with your complaint. It should always add a show at the lowest priority, however, one night adding programs, you'll learn that there is more than one way to add a schedule and one time only, and I cannot figure out how I did it, it did add the show at the bottom of the series order. Now everytime I add a show, you have to go to the series feature and bring t...

After three days the all of the issues have been resolved by no less than two U-verse on site techs and two desk techs, and one ATT outside plant tech. The bottom line was too many errors at the gateway. ~1600 per hour and the gateway would put itself out of service and eventually come back in service. The service log read many more times gateway was OOS than I knew about...

I have to agree with Linda661, the search results are terrible and to see a listing of maybe 5 of the same selections, it is daunting at times. There needs to be a option setting to only view HD and HD only in your time zone.

If the shows you are recording is a "series" has a default setting to "KEEP:All episode until space it needed". Instead of blocking shows to be reorded it deleted the oldest episode to make room for the latest episode". In the "Series settings" it can be changed to "KEEP AT MOST 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 14, latest episodes." Therefore if it is set to 5 and a new episode is to be ...

Since the installation on 10/16/13 I've been having issues with the gateway going out of sync and then no service. When it does recover and everything is back working, I'll press the power key on the remote. The TV turns on and the DVR does not, therefore, you get the Press OK message but then nothing happens. Either you have to manually press the power button on the DVR ...

Thanks for the info. I went throught it just a little while ago with the wife but I have not yet reprogrammed it as told above. I worked nearly 40 years in telephoney with most of them troubleshooting. I fortunatley in the last 20 of them did specification testing and training and was able to work with the technical writers. This haggle would have been worked out many yea...

You just explained why there is a problem. Brighthouse Networks in Orlando FL and U verse remotes use this terrible toggle feature. I had DIRECTV for over ten years and not once did I ever have the the TV and DVR out of power sync. DirecTV remotes have an "OFF" and an "ON" button, so it signals to turn off or on, not toggle. Occasionally, if the remote (RF) was not pointi...

Is there a way when the power button is pressed, only the TV powers off, not the DVR box? The problem is the power button is a TOGGLE and it is very easy when you press the power button that only one device will turn off. Therefore, the TV will be turned on and the DVR turned off, when you o\press the power button, the TV will be off and the box on.
