I think I can visualize the type of shot you're describing, although I didn't see the demonstration. This is called image stitching in Photoshop. I believe the app you describe is available for my phone. Right now, as with any camera be it film or digital, I'm still trying to master the basic workflow in shooting. Haven't really had a chance to tinker with any sort of soft...

I very glad you mentioned the 1020. I am an amateur photographer. The fact that Nokia has embraced high specification lenses for their phones is certainty innovative. I thought of buying one but I didn't want to carry around a $1000 device.

That's the exact reason I always had an affinity for the Nokia brand. Streamlined functionality. Nokia smartphones running WP exclusively, seems to fit that philosophy. I see very few people out there that have a Windows Phone. I know other companies make them. HTC has one and I think Samsung and LG make one as well. When I went to the at&t store to select my first smartph...

I bought a Nokia Lumia 920, which runs WP8. It is the first piece of electronic equipment I have owned that still appears on the front page of its manufacturer's website. I opted for Lumia 920 due to past experience with the Nokia brand. I have owned other brands of "dumbphones", but Nokia's always seemed to work well for me. I chose this phone without any knowledge it was...

This is my first smartphone as well. I must say, using this Lumia 920, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. True, there are some gaps in the app market right now. I personally would like to see a basic Adobe Photoshop app and an AutoDesk app for viewing CAD (computer assisted drafting) files. Having never used IOS or Android I admit bias for the purposes of posting this boar...

...as our good friend ATTDmitriyCM pointed out, this board has become hostile. I suggest we stick to the topic at hand. Remember, the whole world can see this.

HERE ARE THE FACTS: -the overwhelming majority of the world have the update for Lumia 920 handset. -firmware is "seeded" by their respective carriers. -seems hardware is as well, given the fact my battery has less capacity than the European counterpart. -there was a fiasco with updates on WP7 platform. Late in its service life, I know. It still had customers bent outa shap...

I have at least one app installed that cannot be updated because I do not have gdr2/ amber update! I'm sure many more of you out there have the same problem.

Mark and jrock1 don't misunderstand me here. I know very well I will end up paying full price for my phone multiple times. And that's just within the 2 years of my contract term. We can argue the economics of it all you want. AT&T IS DEFINITELY GETTING THEIR MONEY. I am here to to complain about lack of customer support after we've spent all this money. Isn't that why we'r...

That's correct, I do not think they will ever release it. I hope I'm wrong.

The price of the phone itself is more than satisfied throughout the life of the contract, I assure you. The issue here is lack of customer service and product support. That is what makes no business sense. It is far easier to keep the customers you have loyal rather than gaining new ones.
