Normally when a company offers a discount with AT&T services, you'll just need to take your company ID/badge to a store (sometimes more is needed for proof of employment) and they'll be able to set everything up there. Just to be sure you have everything you need, inquire with your employer as to what is needed to set the discount up on your account.

In that case you would still need to speak with an agent, whether it be by phone or email to one of the moderators on this site, and they'll be able to assist with getting things straightened out for you. They'll most likely get you over to the Fraud Management department where they'll require additional information and/or you may need to show valid (and updated) identifi...

The questions is why did they disconnect your service? Did you request for it to be disconnected? Did you return the phone? I don't believe they would just end service for no real reason. Is the account still active or has it been canceled? Normally if you disconnect the service (and return everything from AT&T) within 14 days of activating, the deposit will be refunded. ...

You're paying for the AT&T service, not the device. It wouldn't matter if you got a $20 flip-phone, an $800 iPhone, or you brought your own device. It's the actual service itself that the deposit is required for because it's post-paid (you're using the service then paying for it) service. A (security) deposit is a sum of money held in trust either as an initial part-payme...

It's a security deposit... Not a rebate. It's like putting a deposit down on anything ; a car, an apartment/rental, utility services, cable/internet services. And with the majority of all deposits, 12 months is when they are refunded. (Other services can take up to 24 months to refund it.) It's based off your credit history and how well you are with paying your bills and ...

Also be sure to include everything that came with the original packaging; the phone box, the manuals, all the accessories (battery, charger, ear buds if applicable, etc.), and the invoice. If you don't have the invoice you can call the on-line deparment and they can email one to you. If you have a regular AT&T account (no discounts or bundles) the number you should call i...

If you purchased the device from ATT.com, it's best to return it back to the point of sale by using the return label that was included with the packaging. (I'd be sure to get a receipt/confirmation that you did return it/have it postmarked within the 14 day return period.) Sometimes stores can take the device back, but not always, so it's best to call first so you don't w...

The deposit is paid in order to use AT&T's wireless service. It's the service that requires a deposit, not the device. It wouldn't matter if/how you purchased your phone or if you brought your own device and just used an AT&T SIM card. You should be receiving the deposit back after 12 months of starting service with AT&T and meeting their requirements in order to be eligi...

When you pay a deposit it is normally refunded after 12 months of active service, as long as your service was not suspended for non-payment, and the account balance must also be current (meaning you can't owe AT&T any money from a past due balance). It can take up to 15 days for them to generate the refund after you meet the necessary requirements. You can find out some m...

Also, if it is defective, mention that to the Agent so you won't be charged a re-stocking fee.

As stated on the AT&T website right under the Check Out button... "Orders will be processed and shipped subject to credit approval, inventory availability, and validation of a proper shipping address, credit card information, and other information. Inventory, credit, and other issues may delay shipment or delivery. There are no guarantees for holiday, Saturday, or Sunday ...

T heres a 14 day return policy, so keep that in mind. I suggest going to an AT&T Corporate Store if you want to return it that way. Authorized Retailers have different policies and some of them may not take/exchange the device. You can also use the pre-paid pre-addressed return label that's included in the package to send it back, and call in to exchange the phone as well...

When you get the package, there's a pre-addressed pre-paid return label inside. You can just put that on and send it back. Once it reaches the warehouse, it will be scanned. When it's scanned, that let's AT&T know that you did send back the phone, and you'll get your money refunded back to you.

Unfortunately with the PrePaid plans, tethering is not allowed. You won't be able to create a Hot Spot with a PrePaid device.
