YES. I'm having the same issue. I was told it's because AT&T mapping won't work on LTE phones. I am surprised your Iphone isn't working though, since they supposedly make that more workable on the Iphone.

It's because it's LTE. I'm having the same issue right now. Service worked fine for years, and all the sudden a few weeks ago, stopped working. Unless AT&T addresses this issue, it's not going to work anymore. I spoke to a tech support guy last night about this very issue. Was not given a solution, either.

My family mapping service recently stopped working, and AT&T told me that due to Google doing an update, and changing some settings (separate from AT&T) that the mapping service will no longer work, but MAYBE 20% of the time, or less. They said it was due to the service not supporting LTE phones/network. I asked why they couldn't DISABLE the LTE on the phones in question,...

Call ATT tech people and ask to turn off the LTE feature of the 4G LTE

It's probably the 4G LTE. You can call ATT and turn off the LTE, and you'll be able to locate it again.

I think I know the problem. I recently ran into this issue after we did an upgrade. We went from Blackberry to Samsung Galaxy S4. Family mapping didn't work after this, so I spoke with tech people. They researched the issue, and told me it was the LTE. You have 2G, 3G, 4G, and 4G LTE. Phones that are LTE aren't compatible with Family Mapping, so they did their magic and "...
