As I said, I have been running this ROM for a month and there are no problems after FLASHING. This is the AT&T Developer's ROM as avaiable via Nokia Care Suite...yes it specifically says AT&T Develpoer ROM as in specific to AT&T. [Edited to comply with Guidelines] Also of note, over on WPCentral, they are already deatiling the GDR3 update as an MS epmployee has leaked scr...

Here is a screenshot of my AT&T Lumia 920 running the AT&T Amber/GDR2 Developer's ROM. I've been running it since early Septemeber with no issues whatsoever. There is absolutely no firmware issues and I have encountered no problems whatsoever. Anything about AT&T/Nokia ironing out the kinks or firmware issues is a load of bull...it's pretty clear that AT&T is just sitting...

Not sure what you are referring to saying the dev rom was pulled, seeing as the thread is still live in XDA forums where it was originally posted. As far as I have seen, anyone who followed the original poster's instructions had no issues with the ROM post-flashing

There's no firmware issue going on here, it's AT&T sitting on this update. Plain and simple. I flashed the AT&T Developer's Edition of the GDR2/Amber update and there are absolutely no issues whatsoever. I've been running the firmware for nearly a month now

iOS updates are controlled by Apple and everyone gets it at the same time... With Android its a bit more iffy. Only Nexus devices get the updates when Google releases them. Other devices are updated when released by the manufacturer pending carrier approval... My expereince with AT&T and Android updates is a very poor one...took them nearly 6 months (after Samsung release...

This is complete and utter bull. The Amber/GDR2 update was supposed to have rolled out to Lumia 9xx devices by the end of September. There is no good, viable reason that this is still in the "testing" phase by AT&T when Nokia relesased it to AT&T 6 WEEKS ago... Quite frankly I find it condescending and patronizing of a AT&T representative to come on here and spew all this...

I installed the AT&T Developer ROM and it runs w/o any issues whatsoever. Usually the people who brick their devices tend to be those individuals who don't follow the directions on XDA/WPCentral... But to get back on topic, this is just ridiculous that AT&T won't release the GDR2/Amber update. This is not a "testing" issue, this is a poor device support/trying to move new...

We're coming up on a month now and not a peep from AT&T. It's nice to see that they regard us as billing statements rather than customers. AT&T has the most atrocious customer service I have expereienced, and I am a former Time Warner Cable customer...

I have to agree that AT&T is awful in supporting their devices...both from a hardware and software standpoint

This is AT&T's MO, they are atrocious with supporting their devices. With Android they provided the JB (4.1.2) update for HTC One X more than 6+ months after the source code was released to carriers, far later than every other carrier domestic or international. Honestly there is no reason to believe that they will buck this trend of providing terrible support for device o...

Haha, yeah it seems that AT&T sees the term "customer service" as an oxymoron. God forbid they do something that actually benefits their customers...

My question here is, if the Amber/GDR2 update is already avaiable for the Lumia 1020, what is taking so long for the Lumia 920 approval? From a hardware standpoint, apart from the camera module (41MP vs. 8.7),screen (AMOLED vs. IPS LCD) and system RAM (2GB vs 1GB) they are the same CPU/GPU combinmation and modem. There shouldn't be much of an issue in pushing this update ...
