Most likley being on autopay was a requirement when you initially started service. For all new service, we perform a credit check. When that credit check comes back, we are given categories. If a customer falls into a certain category, no advanced payments are due, but are required to set up on autopay as a result of the credit check. Chances are you fell into that catego...

Your best bet to find out if you can get it is to call customer care at 800-288-2020 and have an address validation case set up for your address. With this process we wll check your address and see if it's possible to get you U-Verse service.

It is correct. Even though we don't have the speed you had at your old address, we do have service there, so if you want to cancel, the ETF would apply. You can try and speak with retentions by calling 800-288-2020 and saying cancel service to see if they might be able to work anything out with you, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.

They said that nothing could be done until the services were actually cancelled, not scheduled to be cancelled. I even specifically asked that several times with each of the three people I spoke with. So, are you saying that if the current owner calls and says they want...

ambero1184 , to add to what ATTDmitryCM said, as soon as the current residents either call to have their services canceled or put in an order to have their services moved (which sets up cancelation at old address as well as an install at new address), our system instantly recognizes that there is a disconnect order in place and would allow us to complete your order for in...

If it was a chat, I believe that when the chat ends, you're sent a short survey about the experience. If that wasn't sent to you, you can send a message here to Customer Care along with Abdul's id and the information will get to back to him and his supervisor. Thank you for posting about your positive experience.

You've forgotten the new Amazon Fire TV that Amazon just launched a few days ago. From all reports it's supposed to be better than a Roku.

It sounds like it's asking for the admin password for the gateway settings. If this has not been changed, it should simply be password or nothing at all.

The issues you both were experiencing were part of a nationwide outage with our U-Verse service so when you initially called in and were told this, it was the truth. The one thing you should not have been told is a time frame for when it might come back on. This is information we as customer service/sales reps are not given because frankly, the ones who resolve these kind...

I do apologize about you issue. It sounds like you may have been speaking with a sales agent or someone in customer care instead of tech support, which he who you needed to speak with. Whenever you call in with a technical issue using the customer care number 800-288-2020, when it prompts you for why you're calling, say 'technical support' and it will direct you to techni...

I'm pretty sure you can use a subaccount. I believe that when creating a subaccount, there is a way to give it permissions the same as the primary.

Normally an address validation request can take anywhere from 7-10 business days depending on how much needs to be done to verify the address. It all we need to do is update our database to indicate that tv is in fact available, then it will not take as long. If we actually have to roll one of our outside tech's to visually inspect it, it will take closer to the 10 busine...

An Access ID is an id that you would create by going through a registration on the main att.com site. This type of id would allow you to have multiple accounts (U-Verse, wireless, etc..) connected to one user id. If you do not have multiple accounts, it wouldn't be necessary to create an Access ID. The at&t email address that you would have created during the set up of yo...
