Thanks, I guess for now then I'll change over to the preview builds. I hadn't used the insider build for a month now, and when I was using it (forget which build) there were some minor issues I got annoyed with. I always provided the feedback during a crash or when asked., So hopefully they considered everything!

Looks nice. Can't wait for the full deployment. Are you using preview insider?

I tried the windows 10 preview on my Lumia 830 and it solved the netflix playback problem. I also haven not had any problems with any of the several camera apps I regularly use. However, WP10 is very buggy at this pooint I wouldn't recommend downloading it to anyone else. I found the tools are very useful but the lack of smooth operation has me changing back to 8.1 Good l...

I had a conversation with AT&T tech support and after a hard reset and loosing all of my photos and stuff (which I will later restore) the camera still does not work. They told me we reached the end of the troubleshooting and there is nothing else they can do to help. Thanks Microsoft and AT&T. I went from 41MP to 0MP overnight.

My Nokia Lumia 1020 phone did an update last Thursday or Friday to WP8.1 and I didn't bother to use the camera until this weekend. Well for some reason, I go to open one of the multiple camera apps and the app tries to open but then just goes back to the home screen. None of the camera apps work. The camera and whole phone worked fine before the update, nothing has change...

One of my coworkers better explained it to me..it has to do with the "effective" megapixel area for the camera sensor compared to the "actual" megapixel area for the camera sensor. They use the cut out areas for calibrating the dark and light colors. Most cameras, like some good nikons, have approximately less than 1% of a lost sensor area where for some reason the Lumia ...

Thank you this answered my question. Just some friend's shots in their wedding and nothing major. I'll have to blow some pics up on my desktop and see for myself. Makes sense they're not round.

Slight problem here with my new Nokia Lumia 1020. All of the included camera apps, Nokia Pro Cam, Nokia Smart Cam, regular camera mode, all do not give me the option for selecting a full 41 MP exposure. Certainly there has to be a way if this is how they are advertising it! One App has the 4:3 and I can choose 38 Megapixels but that is the highest. And the other app lets m...
