Nvg510 is for IpdsLAM yes. I am talking about 589. It is a new gateway that will work for single as well as bonded pair. It will be replacing the Inid, power supply, and inside unit. Also has lithium backup battery that slides into the gateway.. As far as streams, if you have 4 try to record 2 hd and watch 2 programs..... i really hope non Premise technicians and non conn...

Note that most splitters will not work properly with uverse services as they are multicast allowing information both ways. Cable companys use filters that determine which way the signal can flow. A store bought splitter is not going to fix the problem.

The actual reason is you CAN watch SD on hdtv's . You can not view HD stream on SD tv's. With so many SD TV's on the market it makes it hard for providers to get the rights from the Federal gov. That controls the amount a company can send out. Most programs shown on HD frequiency is actually just enhanced and upscaled SD.
