Right, an update to a phone where there is no immediate hardware update or threat of loss of sales. Case in point, HTC M8 lollipop update is serously lagging the other carriers. Oh wait, that is right, the M9 is just right around the corner. Same goes with Samsung Galaxy line. Last time I checked the LG G4 is very far away, in short no threat to sales if ATT releases that ...

The race to the bottom continues. ATT is showing it has the patience to take it all and be dead last. New HTC One developer or GP Edition for me. Take the carrier out of the equation at all costs.

You got that right, Spring / Summer time frame for 4.3 Kit Kat if even that. When Samsung released their upgrade road map did it say all phones, all carriers were guaranteed? As someone that has been dealing with smartphones since 2002 I know how those "promises of upgrades" conveniently exclude carrier buy-in. The carrier is the last word as we unfortunately know by now....

Given their history I would be shocked by the sudden increase in transparency. I don't mind finding out guerilla style when it becomes available but given the one hour difference between the certification updates you would think if ATT really wanted to do right by their customers they would push the update out this weekend like T-Mo did. The bureaucracy and complete disco...

Yup, they won the medal for being last this time. I won't leave, it is just t...

Right. Congrats ATT, you now have the honor of being dead last in the update race. Your attempts were too little too late. But seriously, I know we will have our update soon but with T-Mo getting theirs now you have shown a complete disregard for your customers but letting the competition beat you to the finish line. Way to go. Your hard work at incompetence has paid off....

Exactly redpoint73. That and market share. While some might argue that Sprint is a large company and they have no problems releasing updates first they also have terrible market share so they need to differentiate themselves from the competition. HTC is doing it with their HTC Advantage and to some degree this emphasis on getting updates out quickly with more transparency...

It is starting to get embarassing, even more if Verizon releases it next for both phones. I still think ATT will release it soon and even before the HTC One. Something Samsung can gloat about next week at the MWC.

Interesting, thanks for the info kgbkny. With the corp discount that would be significantly less if I move both phones to the new share plan. 10 gigs unthrottled would be a nice option and we don't have a text plan now so the savings would actually be even greater. Hate rewarding bad behavior with ATT but that is a sweet deal. Thanks T-Mo For making it happen. good point ...

Wow. I mean really, wow. Reading this thread is like déjà vu. you would think Samsung learned their lessons with the original Galaxy phone. They never fixed the gps nor acknowledged the issue as theirs to own. This sounds like history repeating itself. A much more expensive lesson to learn as well. I almost came close to getting this phone but now I am putting Samsung and...

Not surprised, just continually disappointed. Grandfathered unlimited data, great corp discount, good coverage area, the only reasons I stick around right now. Definitely isn't the customer service and the sense that ATT Is looking out for their customers In the long run.

Custom rom days are over. I started up with my old XDA phone on T-Mo back in 2002. Stopped with the Galaxy S. Getting too old for that stuff. Care less about sums it up. Even the support reps here appear to have given up on us But they have nothing of value to share since they are told nothing. HTC Twitter now tells people to see their carriers for updates. Right, like th...
