We presently have an ATT land line and ATT Uverse internet service. Can we drop the land line and still have the Uverse internet service?

Self Install may be a bad idea. I did a self install about a year ago and had nothing but problems. It kept telling me I either had a bad DSL filter or was missing one. After about a week of that, I called ATT and they sent someone out. It looks like he split my incoming line in two. All the phones are on one side of the split. I agree with the above poster. No need for 18 mb tier. 12 mb tier works fine. I've checked my speed with http://www.speedtest.net/. Always runs between 10 and 11 mb and usually hits 11+.

I had a similar problem. I did a self install and it kept dropping telling me I either had a bad DSL filter or was missing one. I couldn't track it down. After I found out DSL was no longer available, I called ATT and had them send someone out to see what the problem was.
