Try a whole house reboot. Unplug all the STB's. Then go to http://192.168.1.254/ and open the router page. Under the device tab go to restart device. Once the RG has rebooted completely, plug the main DVR back in and let it restart. When it has completed the restart plug in the last STB. Once it has completed the restart check the main DVR to see if everything is back up....

Data usage is based on your billing period. The usage was available to see on May 23. So 52 gb was probably not one day. But yes something is up. Is it possible your network is hacked and someone has been using your WIFI network? Just to be safe you may want to change the network name and password and see if the usage is still high. What are the usage numbers for the last...

So you have a DVR and a wireless STB but only using one TV? If so you could wire like My Thoughts suggested, send back the wireless STB and save yourself $10 a month for the additional STB.

I'm ok with staying with AT&T. You are not and are switching providers. We have made our our choices. No sense beating a dead horse.

No wireless network set up on this PC. I'll have to check my son's PC. I think I had him delete the wireless connection after he got the PC. He was using up all our bandwidth wirelessly downloading games.

I did just uncheck the IPV6 protocol box in network properties. Maybe I should have the PC checked. I uninstalled win 10 and went back to win 8.1 because my radeon video driver did not support win 10 and I got no video playback on win 10. I still do get occasionallt video stutter on internet web pages like ABC.com using win 8.1.

No IPV6 address or dns servers are shown in the network settings of the PC. So I presume it is off in the PC as well as the RG.

Typically the one wired PC which I think has a video driver on the motherboard. My son never complains about his PC, which is more of a gaming PC. Wireless devices are sometimes slow but I expect that on wifi occasionally.

2 wired PC's, 2-4 wireless apple devices. Typically yahoo.com, huntington.com. Acessing our att user account is the slowest of all. It can happen any time of day but mostly in the evenings.

Fairly regularly it takes quite some time for webpages to load on a wired pc. Other times they load quickly. IPv6 is disabled on a nvg589 and speed tests are 15-20 on an 18 Mbps connection. What can be the causes of this? Using Firefox for my main browser but see the same thing on chrome. No consistency as to when this happens.

Do you have uverse tv? If you do, you have unlimited data. The postcard said if you have tv service you don't need to do anything. Log in to your att account and look at your usage history. If you haven't exceeded your included data over the last few months, don't even worry about it. Att will notify you if you approach your limit but won't start billing for overages until...

Login to your att.com account and click on myat&t. Look to the right of my plans and click change plan. You can change your tv and Internet plans there. As you make changes the page will update to show the price changes. You can cancel any changes. This could help you budget.

Utility easements are shown on property surveys. If you didn't have one included in your mortgage papers when you bought the home, you'll need to get a property survey. Contact your real estate agent to get one. Some states require one to be done during the sale of a home.

If you have another wireless stb then leave the WAP connected. I assumed you only had one wireless stb.

Log into your account at att.com, then got to the summary tab. Go to change my plan. You should be able to make changes to your plan and see what tv only would cost. If you have a bundle promo it will tell you you will be breaking your promo. Once you see the new price you can cancel changes.

After signing in to your account, click on plan details. In the middle of the page you will see your discounts and offers. That will show when they expire.

Yes. Just connect the ps4 to the RG via Ethernet cable. Or wirelessly.

Or go into the rg settings and change the name of the ssid and password to what it was before. Then you don't have to change the ssid and password on your wifi devices. That is what I did when I got a new rg(NVG 589).

You can only have 1 DVR per account. Additional receivers are $9 per month. Easiest thing to do is order a wireless receiver. One time charge of $49 and then $9 a month. The wireless receiver can also be connected by cat5 cable to the RG. If you order a regular wired receiver you'll be charged $99 for install and around $54 to run the cat5 cable for it. The wireless stb is...

Click on the rewards card link under the faq's on the first page of the forums. You may need to login on the rewards card site to see the other $150. You have to have the service for 30 days to get the rewards. Call if you don't see the other $150. You can cancel before 30 days but you still pay for the services you used and have to pay install fees. Read your service agre...

I see this on our online bill often. It takes a few days for the online account to update. Check again in a few days. I think the 2 amounts you see are the past due and then further down the bill the next monthly regular payment.
