I'm hoping that someone can give me some ideas on how to fix this issue we're having. We have the Genie whole-home DVR system, which we just upgraded to 3 months ago. We just had a major ice storm that lasted all weekend and literally everything is glazed in ice. Our dish is on the roof of our house and I can't really tell how much if any ice is on it. We've only had our DirecTV service for about 2 months now and everything was working perfectly until tonight (at least I just noticed it tonight). We have a total of 4 TVs set up with the whole house DVR service. Never mind! It's working now! I don't know what happened. I decided to try unplugging the TV itself from the power strip (I doubted that would do any good), waited a few seconds, and plugged it back in and it worked! We have satellite on that TV again. I'm calling now to cancel our service appointment!
