I ran both BISTs but not the surface and it seems to have fixed the issue.... but the shows that I taped after the original storm that may have affected it are gone so I'm thinking it may have been an issue while recording. But so far today, nothing has frozen in playback. Thank you Peds48

I have been unable to respond via the tech support page so will reply this way.......... This would be with the actual satellite recordings. Poor playback means it will play part of the show, freeze in mid-stream for anywhere from 20-40 seconds, then start playing again where it left off. Otherwise, picture is fine, it's just that it freezes. This also doesn't matter whic...

Since a storm 10 days ago, I've had really poor playback from both my genie and older DVR player. Genie is HR23-700 and the DVR box is HR34-700. I have high speed internet, 30GB download speed. Any ideas what is wrong? I have reset both receivers a couple of times, unplugged from socket and plugged back in, also hit reset button - no changes. Sherry
