This is through the end of 2014, so I guess in theory, that doesn't mean they won't expand further in '15. Are those areas slated for '14? Nobody ever really knows what ATT is doing, inlcuding themselves.

Not sure if everyone has seen this...go to att.com/network and scroll down a little. Click on "flipping the switch" and it brings up a map for forecasted 2014 LTE coverage. Decent expansion but of course not 100%.

I am not an employee nor an expert, so take it for what it's worth. It seems I remember reading that it had something to do with their agreement with U.S. Cellular, as in that is an exclusive area for them. That is also why you see a lot of roaming in the midwest as opposed to native coverage. As far as future agreements, I of course can not answer. If/when ATT buys out U...

Sounds like they are done or gave up on the U.P. I would love to see a map that shows what their coverage will be after completion. I for one am giving them until early summer to rid of this pitiful Edge service. If not, I am jumping ship to "Red" with my 4 lines.

I am not referring to your target dates specifically. I am referring to ones the CSR or sales people state or public announcements like "ATT will cover their 2g footprint by end of 2012" or ATT will cover their 2g footprint by end of 2013" or "LTE will be substantially complete by end of 2013". It is just frustrating. Yeah tmobile's native network is no where near ATT and...

There have been many different target dates within the last two years and I don't believe ATT hit any one of them. I don't think many of us will be holding our breath or sipping the kool aid. Target dates for ATT are arbitrary dates they throw out to keep people happy and have something to look forward to. Funny thing is it makes matters worse. People would like the truth...

He seemed pretty clear to me...AIO only works on ATT network. Clear English-AIO only works on ATT network, so no roaming. So to answer your question, AIO is NOT the same coverage as ATT. Look at Nebraska for example- ATT map shows roaming, AIO shows no coverage. .

Lewyman, I'm starting to think you work for ATT You seem to throw out a lot of "supposed to be, should be, soon, by the end of xxx" etc...just like they feed. Bottom line is they have been talking 3g for going on 2 years. I would hope by now we have all learned that ATT rarely meets a date they publicly state or CSR's tell people. Once again, if you want to see how ATT op...

Haha I didn't think it would be possible but you never do know with them. It would give them another marketing ploy of "the only all "4g" network"...

Did they "shut off" Edge or is the coverage map just wonky right now?

Doesn't seem like too many people are too concerned, but keep an eye out for some new Sensorly mapping in the U.P. this weekend.
