My R15 DVR doesn't show anything on screen when phone rings, and it is turned on. I put a caller ID phone on the phone line and it works. Called direct TV and they had me reset it which I had already tried but it didn't help. She said it wasn't covered by Protection Plan. Is she right? Said she could send a tech out but I would have to pay for it.
