thanks for the advice. I ended up clearning my browser cache and found out it was restored back to normal today. I think they are just tech glitches ATT uses to try to get you to switch over ot the Yahoo page. If push comes to shove i will have to reset my home page to another site.

I have noticed this over the past few days I open my browser be it Fire Fox or Chrome and see this After a time the regualr customized home page comes back. I am not fond of the new yahoo page because it is too cuttered and does not let me customize it to my needs. I have logged into to att/yahoo and still see this page. Is anyone else having this issue and if so is there...

Update on my issue. Well Friday July 25th a very helpful U-verse tech stopped by and solved my issue. He said that the backup battery that was supplied with my new NVG589 modem was causing the problem. He corrected the issue by supplying me with a new modem and internal battery. So far so good I haven't had any other problems so far.

Thanks for the suggestion I conducted a live chat session with an agent and I will have to have another tech come by to check a line issue. I will ask the tech when they come by about the missing internal modem battery. When I looked it up via ATT's help page I only found the internal battery for the lager back up battery box which I have.

I have had the new NVG589 modem for about a month I just noticed that it is mising the internal battery. I have also had an out of sync issue for the past few days. I had a tech repair a line issue last week and a U-verse tech came and resynced my system yesterday but last night I noticed that the system went down (phone and internet) after a few seconds the modem restart...

I had the same thing happen to me in June. A U-verse tech set up an additional appointment for me for the following day. I waited all day and no one ever came by or even called me. It may be I pushed the button but even during a power outage recently it didn't sound. I just checked the diagnostics and it says the battery is full and it's alarm sound is on.
