Im sorry but you are sorely mistaken they do scan the body. I used to send logs to my home account to keep an eye on my server. The message explicitly said that the body contained ip addresses that are know spamers. Thats because the body contained a log of the spammer activity on the server. So where did you get your information from. mine is from experience and the actu...

One thought here. If the server on the other end received enough bounce backs ::the IT in charge might have forced a bounce back or removal of such messages from thier server. In essence they blocked the bouncer. I know because I ve admined an email server and there is just too much to deal with without having to sort through all the bounce backs. Some bounce backs are th...

It's likely that the server that is sending the email is misconfigured to mismatched forward and reverse DNS. You first have to establish that and have some sort of header record to show that thats what it is. Then you have to convince the person who owns that server to complaint to abuse.att.net. I have tried assembling the information and forwarding it to both parties b...

What I had to do was use an account that could get an email from the game and have it send the password reset. Then I looked at the header and found the ip address they were sending from. then I used a website that lists a large number of blacklists and ran a search on the IP address. ----------------------------------------- http://www.blacklistalert.org/ ---------------...

This is one of the accounts that can't get through the att blacklist. The reason is that att arbitratily blacklists IP addresses that do not properly match forward and reverse DNS testing. hopefully i blocked out enough to make it not recognizable. This is likely what is happening to anyone having trouble with emails not making it to their in boxes. I have notified this c...

sounds like the problem i am having you should probably have the people on the other side send a complaint to att att seems to be agressively blacklisting anyone or anything that looks suspicious. Ive been unable to resolve mine because the other party doesn't have time to play att's games.

I'm having similar problems and have done the same verification. Trust me on this -- no one cares- I spent three hours on phone with att support. They have no clue.

I have two problems that are likely one because they are related. I have a work account which can't reach me because sbc and att and yahoo are blocking them. Now there is a given reason but its rather more arbitrary then based on any facts so I suspect this is happening a lot. The blacklisting doesn't just include known spamers but it seems to include "suspicious" IPs whi...
