We have similar volume issues on all TV's for HD (all we watch). SInce the update, the HD volume has increased about 50%. One TV was so loud at the lowest volume, we couldn't watch. I played around with Audio options and swiched to Surround Sound from Stereo in Digital Audio Options and it seems the volume level is back to normal. We are interested if there is a real fix ...

After reading the responses from various so called ACE's, I wonder who is making the "award" and what is the definition of "excellence"?? (They all claim not to be AT&T employees, but their views seem to be prejusticed in favor of guess whom?)

The ATT Uverse order management center? That's what I got dialing it, after the Spanish # push, it rang 3 times and a woman answered. On a Sunday? Chris I used that number again last Thursday and the Rep said it was Retentions. Of course, she may have been lying (because she works for AT&T and was talking).

Sorry, but comparing any industry to the credit card industry is like comparing an ax murderer to one that kills with a knife. So you proved my point as both credit card companies and AT&T practice dispicable marketing/ billing practices. Churn is a very large problem in this space and AT&T seems to encourage it. Makes no sense.

Don't keep playing CS roulette. The DIRECT number to Retentions is 866-446-4115. AT&T plays this stupid game of hide the cheese (promotions) for existing customers. I know because I have played for 4 years already. They bank on the notion that it's too much of a hassle to switch. This may be the year I call their stupid bluff. What a crappy business model.

When I signed up. They gave me a promotion for a year. I agreed to that and knew my rates would increase. So how is that punishing us. ...by giving the best deals to new customers, while squeezing existing loyal customers for every last dollar.

I just love how nonchalantly AT&T employees try to justify disgusting marketing and billing practices. I have been on uVerse for 5 years now and in addition to a completely muddled organization (for the employees too), it is a constant battle to check the complicated billing and keep them honest.
