It's not that it doesn't make a difference, it's that it SHOULDN'T make a difference. And as a sideline ... when I first got my Nexus 6, it came with 5.01, even though I think everyone else was on 5.1 or 5.1.1. Don't recall. Never got an update. Called Google. Waited a week, no update. Eventually called Motorola. They did something. Perhaps they released the IMEI to AT&T?...

Unlocked Nexus 6 bought directly from Google. Just got my 6.01 notification. t's odd though, it said my phone was up to date as of about 1.5 hours ago. I clicked on the check for updates. It came back and said it was up to date. I clicked again, got the notification.

Seriously AT&T? 3 months and no Marshmallow yet? Do you wonder why you are #3 of the most hated companies list?

It's silly. They are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. 90% of their customers are paying the price for the 2%. Do they really think after being a customer for 10+ years with my whole family on the plan that I am going to take my unlocked phone that IS ON A 2 YEAR CONTRACT and go somewhere else? Paranoia if you ask me. I guess I will have to take 2 phones to Europe...

I've been to Europe about 10 times over the past 3 years. Are you telling me that when I upgrade to a new Nokia 1520 on contract, AT&T won't unlock the phone for use while I am abroad because it's still in its 2 year contract. Wow. Good to know that AT&T appreciates me as as customer for spending $500 / month with them. Fine. I will buy my own phone to relieve AT&T of the...

That's *%^@$*. Samsung claimed my Galaxy S Captivate wasn't powerful enought to run ICS. Guess what? My TeamHackSung ROM ran ICS BETTER than the manufacturer 2.2 ROM.

AT&T is the "permier" Windows phone network. If 8107 doesn't work on AT&T, where else would it work? I don't believe the "tweak" theory.

Hmmm. I would guess it more likely that AT&T believes it is more profitable to release only 1 update as opposed to 3. They knew they would be released the Nokia 900 in the Spring. Why not wait until then to update everyones phone? Except ...it screws over everyone in the meantime. If this were truely the case, you would think MS would of said something also.

How is that Galaxy Note? I swore I would never buy another Samsung after my Captivate experience ... Returned 2 devices that would automatically shut off even with plenty of juice. The whole GPS failure LATE LATE LATE firmware updates (I am not sure who to place more blame on, AT&T or Samsung)
