You will rarely get sound to sync up exactly; it's the nature of digital compression. Faster receivers/TVs/DVRs can decompress the stream faster than others. Just go to a Target store where they have the sound up on all of the TVs in electronics--every one will be a split second off.

I have the same issue. It occurs when AT&T inserts their stupid commercials over the station's commercials. It's on many of the SD channels (with the receiver in HD mode); FXX is the worst I've found. Do you have a wireless receiver that is also connected via cat.5 cable? If so, that's your problem. It's trying to use both at the same time and it's causing a "network short".

I think the original poster was stating that SyFy wasn't showing up on the WEBSITE listings, but do show up on the receiver. I too have seen this. I was trying to schedule a recording from my laptop but noticed that the website guide skipped right over 151 Syfy, so I had to go to my u-verse receiver and set it there.

This is really annoying, especially since on my (non-AT&T) cell phone, I can go to settings and "opt out" of amber alerts and/or weather alerts. There should be an option in the uverse receiver...especially for those of us who have enough sense to look out the window and see when a storm is coming!!

Apparently I can not fax over AT&T;s U-verse phoneline either. However, I can fax through Magicjack connected to a computer wi-fi'ed to the residential gateway just fine.
