I know that's the official line... My friend has taken some pictures and says their fine, but he may not have taken the right kind... dark rooms, whatever.

The old case fits the 4S perfectly. The guy that lives at the desk next to me didn't even know that there was a new case for the 4S. His 4 case fits the 4S just fine.

According to Amazon, this case won't work on the 4S, and Otterbox has one for the 4S which has a larger area for the camera. However, many people say it works great on the 4S. Can anyone provide a good reason why the older case is not suitable for the 4S? Thanks.

The upgrade fee is rather irritating, but they haven't taken your money, unless you wrote a check or paid cash. They don't charge the credit card until they actually ship.

Now, THAT is a CSR department that's got personality problems. On one hand, they can't cancel a simply preorder for a device they don't have in stock and are willing to ship. On the other hand, they are willing to canvas your local stores to locate a phone an then call you back to tell you about it.

Contacts are probably still there. I've seen cases where the contact app doesn't show them. Check your texts... go to one of them, scroll to the top and tap 'Contact.' If it's correct then you still have them. Make a simply change (remember who this is to undo it later), and save it. Then check to see if your contacts are back!
