It connects fine with my Windows Vista PC. I click on "Computer" to see what's on the phone, or copy music files to it.

Thanks for the warning. I think I will skip this update. I am not having any problems with the 2.3.4 it came with.

Every article I've read since April 2011, and every product description for the Galaxy S2, said it has Gorilla Glass. THAT is what I believe. I had an AT&T rep tell me that HSPA+ was faster than LTE, and that the Galaxy S2 (non-Skyrocket) was LTE ready. So, no, I don't believe everything a rep tells me. They don't know everything.

I got a Kingston 32GB microsd card from Amazon for about $50. It seems to work fine with my GS2, but I don't use it a lot.

I don't know what is so great about ICS. I am really happy with the way my GS2 is now. I really don't want to upgrade to the first release of ICS (4.0) that probably has a lot of bugs.

I think you have a defective phone. Do you pay for AT&T Enhanced Support? Can you take the phone back for a new one? Did you try a "Factory Reset"?

I have never seen "Maps" listed in my battery usage chart. But, I don't think I've ever looked when GPS is on, or when my Google Maps application is running. I'm sure I have looked at battery usage after using the Maps app, and I have never seen "Maps" listed. I had a similar problem with something called "logcat". It used the majority of my battery (over 50%), and was ca...

I looked at "Recent Posts" under "Wireless Forums" and saw a post about someone having network problems in Minnesota. There were people all over the mid-west having problems accessing the internet with various types of phones. Whatever the problem was, it was resolved yesterday. I am no longer having any problems. I'm so glad I read those posts, because I was about to do ...

Thanks for the advice. I removed the Dr Web and AVG anti-virus apps. I had already removed Dr Web and reinstalled AVG. I found that if I had AVG installed, then installed Dr Web, turned on Dr Web, turned off Dr Web, uninstalled Dr Web, logcat would be removed from my battery usage chart. But after a few seconds, logcat would reappear, and start consuming battery again. I ...
