Couple other things occur to me: do you have a fixed 192.168 ip setup on your router for the geniego? It has to be on the same network for you to be able to register it, and your dvrs need to be on that same network. A fixed ip at least will keep the geniego always on the same address, which I found beneficial. I do the same for the dvrs. also, it almost sounds like DTV h...

I had the same problems the original posted had, and it had nothing to do w/ space on my device or on the App. I had the problem on the PC, on two ipads, a laptop, etc, and I had multiple gigabytes of space free on all. I run the Geniego app on Windows 10. (and I've been doing that for months). There was a mandatory update earlier this month or at the end of March that broke it, but it is working again. My understanding is that there will no longer be a separate piece of equipment for Geniego, and that instead they are building in the capability into the newer DVRs.

@gijoecam : Login to the directv website, go into My account, then My Equipment. Then you'll see a link on the left hand side for "Activated for GenieGo". That page is the most we can see. Unfortunately it does not include the registration name you gave each device. But at least you can look and see if anything looks strange there in terms of device type and os version. ...

I went through a 5 week sprint on this one w/ Case Management. They even sent me a replacement geniego. In the end, we are not sure what was the actual cause, I can tell you what was done that eventually got it fixed, but what I can tell you is that it was nothing specific on my end. It started working again today on the Windows 10 PC. The software allowed me to reactivate the PC w/ the Geniego, everything seems back to normal. (no new software download was necessary).
