Yeah I actually just went to see if they had a live demo. They didnt but he said he has them in stock. Asked him about it, and said I would get one right now. He made a call and 15 mins later or so I walked away with my new phone

Ideally no they will not need access to anything except your existing cable connections. Your hook up is similar to mine. No phone line as we were not getting voice. And I would not want dsl which is what the phone line provides. The most they will need to do is switch the lines outside. Once they are pointing to att they just have to hook it up inside. No phone line. It should be using coax. Also you do not need to install anything on your pc. That is more of just a tool for information for I would say power users. You do not need to install anything

Let me see if I can make this simpler. Ok for terms, you have the following. Phone line, coax which is your normal cable that screws into the back of your current dvr's, Ethernet, residential gateway which is the modem with built in wifi. Well they ideally will probably use the regular CATV cable that you use for your HD Cable service. I think they say you have to get permission just incase you have to do something that requires them to install something on the complex itself. Not sure. after lots of research this is what I found, and it worked for me. Enter the code 4020 Manually. Now after doing this you cannot control the volume, but if you do the step for always sending volume or channel commands to one device then it will work when you select aux. Hope that helps.
